Exploring since 2011
We have organized formal tours since 2022 in Europe with dozens of happy spelunkers and many frequent travellers.
Our previous tours
England Tour - 2022
Our inaugural tour was in October / November 2022. We visited 6 cheese shops in London, 2 distributors, the iconic Neal’s Yard Dairy arches, and two cheese restaurants including the Cheese Barge.
We also visited cheesemakers around the UK, including Stilcheton Dairy, Fen Farm Dairy, and Sparkenhoe Farm.
England Tour - 2023
Our second tour in England took plade in August 2023.
We visited cheesemakers around the UK, including Stilcheton Dairy, Fen Farm Dairy, and Sparkenhoe Farm.
We had the chance to also visit the city of Cambridge.
Cheddar Tour - 2023
in August 2023 we had a special route focusing only on the make of cheddar.
We visited four producers in the south of England and had the opportunity to learn from some of the most iconic producer of this style of cheese.
During our trip we had a visit to the ruins of Stonehege.
London Tour - 2023
We repeated our successful London in August 2023, with visits to the Neal’s Yard Dairy arches, the Cheese Barge, and Borough Market.
London is the UK capital of cheese and visiting stores and distributors gives travellers a sense of the many type of business available in the industry.
Our visit to La Fromagerie was unique (see picture above).

Our previous tours
Norway Tour - 2023
Oslo served as the first stop in adventuring to Norway. There we visited an urban cheesemaking facility, and the gorgeous shop Frogner Special.
The tour around this beautiful country took us from Sandane to Trondheim and we visited 4 cheesemakers including Tingvollost producers of Kraftkar, winner of the World Champion trophy at the World Cheese Awards in 2016.
Portugal Tour - 2024
We traveled to Portugal in November 2024 and had the chance to learn about the production of Queijo Serra da Estrela and also enjoy time in Porto.
This tour was a chance to learn a lot about a style of cheese that is not common in other parts of the world and taste the magnificent Portuguese cuisine.
Switzerland Tour - 2025
Our most recent tour was to Switzerland to learn all about the cheese culture of the Alps. We visited producers of Gruyère AOP, Emmentaler AOP, and Tête de Moine.
We also had the chance to visit the impressive caves of Gourmino in the middle of the mountains and enjoy the town of Bern with a walking tour introducing us to their chocolate traditions.
